Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte

Equipment

  • coffee machine, French press, or other way to make coffee
  • blender or milk frother (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 T ground coffee
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 T milk or milk substitute of choice (see suggestions below)
  • sweetened of choice (optional, see suggestions below)

Instructions
 

  • Add spices to coffee and prepare coffee as usual. (You don't need to mix; it will be fine if you drop the spices on top of the coffee.)
  • Add dairy option of choice to coffee, stir, and add sweetener if desired.
  • Serve as is, or whisk vigorously by hand, blend in a blender, or use a milk frother to make the latte frothier.

Notes

No pumpkin pie spice? No worries. Use 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp each ginger, nutmeg and cloves.
Or use apple pie spice. You will hardly notice the difference!
