  • 2 quart pitcher

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 C fresh lemon balm leaves
  • 2 quarts filtered water

Instructions
 

  • Heat water to nearly boiling.
  • Coarsely chop or use spoon or potato masher to muddle lemon balm leaves.
  • Pour water over lemon balm. Let steep 5-10 minutes if serving hot. If serving cold, you can refrigerate and let the tea steep longer.
  • Strain out lemon balm leaves and serve hot or cold.
